The Business Education Awareness Initiative was founded to raise awareness about careers in business to high school students because many high school students do not see business as a viable career path. The purpose of this program is to give insight about our Actives' experiences in business to high school students through the form of panels and workshops. We have launched our first event at Long Beach Polytechnic High School in which we gave a business panel to ASB students about not only business, but also share our college experiences. In starting this program, we aim to give back not only to our immediate community, but to local communities around UCI.
